Over the years Okeanus has developed several projects to companies and universities throughout Brazil. We create a partner-like relationship with each client when a new project begins. Below are some of the clients and respective work performed with Okeanus support.
Petrobras
Assistance in technical specification project of weather and oceanographic buoys and mooring lines that were bid.
Navy of Brazil
Assistance in technical specification project of weather and oceanographic buoys that were bid, and active participation in the establishment and training of these buoys.
Eletrobras
The Okeanus developed an instrumentation design weather and oceanographic and complete water environmental monitoring to meet IBAMA requirements for nuclear power plant Angra 3 could be allowed to operate.
Univ. Federal Fluminense
Mooring lines by up to 200m depth to monitor the growth of molluscs and amount of sediment in the water. The lines were completely designed by Okeanus and have attached various oceanographic instruments.
Itaipu Binacional
Okeanus developed along the Biosonics a marine wildlife monitoring project to Itaipu Hydroelectric used sonar with fixed transducers on each side of the channel and real-time data transmission.
Vale
Okeanus developed the instrumentation design weather and oceanographic port to the area of Vale in the port of Itaqui in Maranhão involving gauges, Current Meters and data transmission to the control center of the harbor.
Cenpes
Development of a new float along with Axys to control the opening and closing of valves for oil underwater unloading. Already sold more than 3 of these buoys.
COPPE UFRJ
Okeanus was responsible for the installation, data verification and training related to ondógrafo Triaxys Mini installed in Ilha Solteira reservoir.
Ceará Portos
Current monitoring Design and waves through buoys and port stations with telemetry.
Devon
Installation of a ondograph at sea to monitor wave and tidal next to the FPSO Polvo the block.
